We would like to start with a huge congratulations to the beautiful Kate and Jeff! They have been waiting for their wedding day to happen for a while. Together with their lovely family and friends they have created fun atmosphere all the way from the set up to the clear up after the wedding.
It is always an absolute pleasure to be part of something this special and feel such a welcome from everyone.
Venue
Kifstgate gardens is a hidden gem wedding venue in the heart of the Cotswolds. Situated above the Mickleton village, this is above all a family home which is obvious from the moment you step in. The love and passion given to these gardens by the three generations of women creates a truly magical space. The family home as well as a cute 3-bedroom cottage are available to rent together with the grounds for a marquee wedding. This property is just perfect, and we couldn’t have chosen better.
Marquee & Vibe
Katie and Jeff have chosen a see-through marquee so their guests can fully appreciate their surroundings. Provided by the Country marquees, this professional team has built the unique tent and its kitchens in no time. The long rustic top table together with traditional round tables created a relaxed atmosphere our couple was after. The sharing meat platters served by Kemp&Kemp catering only added to a family friendly soiree within a spectacular space. Setting up own bar and providing own alcohol only adds to a popularity of a marquee wedding. We would always suggest having a professional coordinator or two for such event.
Our work – Wedding coordination also known as on the day management
We have provided wedding coordination services on this occasion. Our work has started with a set up of the tables and various décor on the Friday afternoon. This allows Bride & Groom, and their families go off site and enjoy a pre – wedding get together. This is especially appreciated by the guests who have travelled from far and want to spend some more time in the area with the couple.
Having set up the marquee the day before gives all suppliers involved a great start to the wedding day. It gives the wedding coordinators time and space to truly look after the couple and host the guests at the venue. The guests also had time to appreciate hidden gardens within the gardens and other secret corners of this beautiful property. Guests were then ushered to the pool side wedding ceremony while I was awaiting a bridal party arrival. Walking down the aisle with a view of the Gloucestershire was truly amazing and there isn’t another viewpoint like this around. To ensure a smooth run of the wedding day is the priority of the wedding day coordination. This is especially needed in venues with various locations for the ceremony, drinks reception, and the wedding breakfast. Once the guests are enjoying their cake and dancing the coordinators are most likely not needed. Until the next day 😊

Beyond that, Seeing your lovely smiley faces at various points kept us calm. We also later heard about the whole light debacle and that Chloe handled it like an absolute pro.
As if everything you did on Friday and Saturday we wasn’t enough, Rocking up on the Sunday to find everything practically done and ready to go was an absolute dream. Never did we think the pack up part would be so speedy (and almost fun).
