  1. KEW GARDENS

Kew Gardens in Richmond upon Thames offer something different, charming, and certainly unforgettable just a short 30-minute trip from central London. A UNESCO Heritage site with various wedding venues within its 320 acres.

This is your botanical wedding dream. You can choose to arrive via the Elizabeth Gate, walk to the Nash Conservatory where civil ceremonies take place. Nash conservatory is an iconic and elegant glasshouse offering beautiful views of the gardens.

Then you can opt for cocktails and canapes on the green lawn or in the famous tropical glasshouse the Princess of Wales Conservatory.

A golf buggy will whizz you around the grounds for those photo opportunities. A formal wedding reception can take place in the famous Orangery. Victorian in style, with white, tall windows, and plenty of natural light flowing into this stunning wedding venue that will accommodate up to 200 guests for dinner and a dance.

If you are looking for something more laid back, you can opt for Cambridge Cottage as your wedding venue. Set in the secluded corner of the Kew Gardens, this former residence to Duke of Cambridge will deliver light and spacious space for up to 120 guests.

Kew gardens are fully licenced venues until midnight and offer its venues to smaller parties from 50 to larger weddings of 200 guests. Dry hire is also available on request.

  1. SYON PARK

If you are in love with orangeries, conservatories, and open spaces for your wedding then Syon House and Park are what you need. From April to mid-October, you can choose to marry in the Great Hall for up to 120 guests or a State dining room for up to 50 guests.

Most summer wedding receptions take place in the great Conservatory where you can enjoy the party until 1 am.  For larger celebrations, you can opt for a Walled Marquee that can host up to 600 guests.

 

  1. LUTON HOO HOTEL & SPA

This hidden gem of a wedding venue is perfectly located just 10 minutes from the international airport and a short 30-minutes train ride to London. De Hoo family occupied the manor house for four centuries until the death of Thomas Hoo, the 1st Baron of Hoo and Hastings at 1455.

The current house was built and finished by the famous architect Robert Adam 1781. Luton Hoo Hotel and Spa has been fully refurbished into its former glory in 2008 and has been welcoming famous guests ever since. With glorious dining rooms, a formal ballroom with Crystal Chandeliers, and the Russian Chapel, this property will take your breath away as soon as you drive up through the immaculate Capability Brown’s landscape.

  1. EAST WINTER GARDEN

Conveniently located at the Canary Wharf shopping centre, this grand structure with 27-metre high arches, glass windows and marble flooring, is one of the most spectacular wedding venues in London.

This magnetic wedding venue accommodates up to 500 guests. You can then choose from the Main Hall, the Gallery, or the Promenade room depending on your requirements.

 

 

  1. CHISWICK HOUSE AND GARDENS

A perfect setting for a quintessentially English romance within the Grade I-listed 18th century House, Garden Pavilion and gardens located just a short train ride from central London. Chiswick House is a villa that has been entertaining guests for hundreds of years. You can enjoy a civil ceremony in the main Villa for up to 90 guests and a reception of up to 80 seated guests.

Conservatory with a stunning glass dome then accommodates up to 150 guests. And the Garden Pavilion with a semi-permanent marquee can welcome up to 220 wedding guests.

  1. ASYLUM CHAPEL

Found in Caroline gardens in South East London, Asylum Chapel is a Grade II listed building built in 1826, bombed in WWII and is now an open maverick project available for various events.

Licensed civil ceremonies can accommodate up to 120 guests and are available from 9 am in the morning. You can also enjoy drinks, canapes, and a reception for up to 120 guests.

  1. HISTORIC ROYAL PALACES

Established as a self-funding charity in 1989 to care for five Royal Palaces in London, Historic Royal Palaces include some of the most luxurious wedding venues in London and the UK:

HAMPTON COURT

Based in Surrey, it is simply one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the UK. Set within acres of immaculate gardens, the Tudor Palace offers various wedding venues.

You can choose from an intimate wedding at the Little Banqueting House to The Garden room with up to 180 guests, The Great Hall up to 200 guests, and finally The Orangery and Privy garden with a capacity of up to 250 guests.

KENSINGTON PALACE

Home to British Royalty, Kensington Palace is available for intimate weddings from 15 guests to larger celebrations for up to 200. Set in the very heart of London and licenced for a civil ceremony, this elegant palace will be talked about for years to come. State apartments are available for your reception for up to 100 guests, where the Pavilion can accommodate up to 300.

KEW PALACE

Set in the glorious Royal Botanic gardens, this picturesque wedding venue is a true English dream home.  This Grade-I listed venue once home to King George the III and Queen Charlotte feels cosy and luxurious at the same time.

The kings dining room offers an intimate experience for up to 30 guests, The Royal Kitchens up to 40, and the King’s Breakfast room up to 24.

BANQUETING HOUSE

You can expect timeless elegance in this banqueting house created especially for entertaining in 1622. The main hall with its grand white pillars, chandeliers, and Sir Peter Ruben’s painted ceiling is nothing short of epic. The main hall is fully licenced and can accommodate up to 300 wedding guests. For drinks and reception, you can also opt for ever so charming vaulted Undercroft with a capacity of up to 150 guests.

TOWER BRIDGE

Most likely the best-known historic fortress in the UK and around the world. Imagine celebrating your wedding day within its historic stone walls. Enjoy the White Tower in the centre of the fortress with a reception for up to 250 guests. All events can add a private viewing of the Crown Jewels.

 

  1. THE VICTORIA & ALBERT MUSEUM   Located in Knightsbridge London, this spectacular architecturalVictoria and Albert museum wedding venue London gem is almost hidden from wedding couples. A great selection of wedding venues within the V&A museum can entertain up to 600 guests. John Madejski’s gardens are a magical space with elegant water fountains, perfect for wedding photos.   1. NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM   If you are looking for something special and different then you most certainly found it. Definitely a unique setting for wedding celebrations in central London. Hintze Hall is the largest venue with up to 650 guests capacity for a wedding ceremony and a reception. Victorian architecture with incredibly high ceilings will provide a perfect backdrop to the special day. More intimate parties can take place at the Nature Gallery, in the Darwin centre courtyard, North Hall, or the Fossil Way.
